This Friday, the medical brigades’ team of the New Humanity Crusade Foundation (FCNH), founded and chaired by philanthropist Alvaro Noboa, visited the area of the Trinitaria Island, southwest of Guayaquil, to carry out medical checkups and to give free medicines to more than a hundred people.
Around 9:00 am the brigade truck reached Las Mercedes Cooperative. The medical team and organizers of the brigade helped to prepare the place for checkups.
Among the first beneficiaries were Jilda Tejada and her little son, Oscar Sandoval. Both were examined by Dr. Virginia Clavijo, who prescribed a multivitamin for the child, and a dermatological cream for the lady.
The doctor recorded several cases of parasitosis, dermatitis, high cholesterol, diabetes, sleep apnea and tachycardia.
