On thursday september 19, the medical brigades of the Foundation Cruzada Nueva Humanidad (FCNH), founded by successful businessman Alvaro Noboa, mobilized to the Santa Maria Eufrasia school, located in the Trinitaria Island, cooperative Brisas del Salado.
The school is part of the Kairos foundation, which is presided by father Simon Mahish, who alongside Doctor Jenny Arteaga coordinate the visits of the medical brigades.
In this occasion, the Foundation arrived to the Eufrasia School where children between 10 and 12 years old were checked up. According to Doctor Arteaga, most of them presented parasite infections; she also pointed out that because of this condition their weight and height was below average. But she also said that the flu cases had decreased in that area.

The students show their gratitude for the medicines. To help those in need, that is the mission of the Foundation.
On the other part, Doctor Virginia Clavijo said that of the 38 patients she checked, there were cases with the flu, pharyngitis and otitis. There were also cases with parasite infections and children with their weight and height below average.
Katherine Choez, 23, has worked for the Kairos foundation since 2010 and has collaborated in several occasions to support the work of the Foundation Cruzada Nueva Humanidad.
“What they are doing is very good, checking the children and the whole community to provide medical attention for their problems”, said Choez.
