On Tuesday, the New Humanity Foundation, established by philanthropist Alvaro Noboa, gave financial aid to two people in need.
Mercedes Valdiviezo, 43, was one of the beneficiaries. She came looking for a pre-menopausal treatment and to buy the medicines she requires. “I think this is all right because the foundation provides help to others,” she said.
