Philanthropist Alvaro Noboa, helps Ecuadorians through his foundation

Philanthropist Alvaro Noboa, through his foundation, continues providing assistance to the most needy people of the City of Guayaquil.

On this occasion, one of the beneficiaries was Alfredo Lara, who suffered an accident three years ago, in which his vision was affected. “He helped me to have surgery but I have to be in constant treatment,” said Lara, who received financial aid to cover the necessary drugs. “All his life he has helped, without being a candidate or anything. Hence the nature of his soul shows,” he said gratefully.

Piedad Valencia and Martha Chalco received assistance by health issues. Piedad Valencia will use the provided money to pay an MRI that must be done by an aneurysm, while Martha Chalco came on crutches to receive financial aid for rehabilitation needs.

Another was the case of Wilson Andrade, who went on behalf of his mother, Lucinda Rosas, 82, for a medical treatment. “My mother has many illnesses and the economic situation is difficult.”

Other beneficiaries of the social assistance were Julia de Los Angeles Moreira and Perla Moreira.
